Subjective is the problem here because it's made only a very small part of a wider rule subjective. When a ref could just use common sense (was this deliberate) then we didn't see these issues. I don't think VAR should be even looking at these and if they do, they should never do so in slow motion. Real time is reality - someone has to think and act. If you can't see it in real time and think, yeah, that hand was moved to hit the ball deliberately, then it's not handball.

Anyway, pointless discussion - all that shit is badly broken right now but everyone has to live with it so shrugs.

This. This is what the fuss is about.

I'd argue that nobody's arms make their body unnaturally bigger (unless they have some kind of go go gadget go style arm extender.....)
