This win really puts us in a conversation about if we can hit playoffs. The next two matches will really determine that, with Bristol City being in a playoff position and Swansea being on the periphery with us.

It depends on if this is just a run of good matches or what is to be expected of Rovers. I think as long as we keep playing the same side, with Graham up top, I think we can achieve playoffs. However, we need to reinforce the 2nd unit if we are to make a serious playoff run.

Rovers now have parity over goals scored and conceded which can be a good marker of how the season is going. Giving as good as you get is a good starting point for kicking on into the second half of the season. Cut out the silly results like Charlton and Luton and we'd have been in the playoffs.

I am feeling really good about the progress this team is making. If not for losing Cunningham & Lenihan at QPR, there’s no telling what our record would now be.
No predictions, I’m just enjoying the ride!

The Tosin/Lenihan partnership has made a huge difference,we have the lad until the end of the season but Mowbray will struggle to replace him.

Same answer as when we last won 3 in a row, it was the tail end of last season. :D

Meanwhile, posters on BRFCS are spinning their wheels trying to justify their recent vilification of the man. They seem to genuinely believe that Tony Mowbray has arrested our descent because he’s started to pay attention to their views on picking the team...

I worked out the answer about 5 mins after excitingly posting and realised it was last season

Nothing new there. Many of them wanted him out around this time during the League 1 season, it must be something to do with it being the season of goodwill... :yeahright: Football is just getting worse for unrealistic expectations and knee jerk reactions. I swear some fans find the manager merry-go-round more entertaining than the game itself. Mowbray boasts an impressive record since taking us over, we've steadily improved under him. He should have earned the respect and patience to work through the odd blip in results. We've just had empirical proof of how quickly things can turn back around.

We won 6 league games in a row the season before in November through to mid December, during our League 1 promotion campaign.
