Just realised there isnt a proper thread for what is a pretty huge match tomorrow.

I'm having to get up in 7 hours to get my car from my mates house-to drive to ewood-to get a smelly bus.

At least it will save on petrol money.

Prediction: 2-1 Rovers, McCarthy and Villanueva

I'll take a point today. I just hope that if Samba does play upfront, we actually provide some support for him today. With the likes of Diouf and Pedersen returning i'm hoping so, and we can obviously play Benni beside him. I watched Stokes game last week against Newcastle and they were nothing special (they will obviously say the same about us). Newcastle dealt with the majority of the long throws so if we can do that we have a chance.

Anyone driving to the game like me, I have just been informed there has been a bad accident at Junction 15 on the M6, so you may want to set off a little earlier.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!

They've changed it to 4-4-2 now with Pedersen upfront with McCarthy.

Diouf seems to be playing on the left? He's looked pretty useful though, him and Pedersen linkup well.

They need to stop hoofing the ball up to McCarthy, he's not that kind of striker.

diof has looked our most dangerous player only thing is when he moves to left stoke flood down our right hand side every time they break. agree with robbo booting it its ok having a huge kick but whats the point when it keeps coming straight back

I hate the longball tactic, you risk losing possession every time. So like you say it's usually coming straight back at us.

McCarthy needs the ball on the ground, he's not going to be a threat to them in the air.
