Re: Brexit....or in.

Well that's just plain stupid. By all accounts it was a car crash interview, making it an own goal to doctor it. Any interview conducted by Piers Morgan is a car crash interview. Did you watch it? Starmer coped reasonably well with an inane line of questioning, and seemed to genuinely try to ...

Re: General Election

And the hole gets deeper, I’m not sure defending the indefensible is a good look. They’ve successfully shifted the conversation from who’s responsible for installing flammable cladding though... Strange how when they're oh so clever they don't know when to shut up. I doubt anyone actually bel...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Yes indeed. It certainly puts your concerns about leaf molesting locals in perspective, though now you probably feel even less secure. I’ll shut up now.

You're in Stockport too, now, remember. ;)
Exactly, don't see anything of the sort near us. That's why I was asking, if you think it's just normal... :?
You did have this a couple of years back.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield Wednesday, Sat 2 Nov 2019, KO 15:00(?)

I thought Downing was poor today, surely time for Mowbray to give Chapman or Buckley a run out. Having seen very little of Chapman in this division, it seems he's wanted in the team based on a few league one performances before he got injured. Certainly when I watched the U23's play Derby a few wee...

You know who's not even made their bench? Rhodes. They've clearly broken him.

Re: Brexit....or in.

I suppose any percentage is technically a fraction, but you used it to imply less than a majority of remain voters wanted a referendum, which seems to be incorrect. Added to that is the fact that those polls show that a majority of remain and leave voters combined want a referendum over an election...

Re: Preston North End v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 26 Oct 2019, KO 15:00

We've had a bad month, but Mowbray should have earned more respect than to have speculation about who should replace him. Unless he's had a bang on the head and forgotten everything he knows, he's proved time and again he's a good manager. Our major limitation is resources, we're going to have stic...

Re: Brexit....or in.

Or we could just write off the idea of a second referendum as something that's only wanted by a fraction of those who voted for the losing option last time, and therefore all would be an unnecessary expense. :yeahright: ;) Interesting, and a bold claim. Where are you getting your figures may I ask?...
