Re: Current Events/News

Yes, I think the other part would be around where would you really go that's better and different. I know I really don't want to go to the USA, which ironically is the easiest place that I could currently migrate to should I decide; my current employer is based from Seattle and will sponsor relocati...

Re: Current Events/News

Part way through, tis lengthy but very interesting. And yes I do hear you on the this country as well. The problem seems to be both sides sliding to extremism, which just inflames the hatred. The immediacy of social media and the feedback loop it provides seems to just encourage a hardening of opini...

Re: Current Events/News

Donald Trump has protestors tear gassed so he can walk to church for a photo opportunity. I think the Mussolini comparisons are definitely justified right now.... Meanwhile, the police, responding to protests about police brutality, do stuff like beat an old man to the ground with riot shields, driv...

Re: Current Events/News

But had the lockdown been implemented sooner I think there is enough evidence to suggest that it would have been more effective and reduced the impact on the economy as it potentially wouldn't have been as prolonged. Also a swifter lockdown with effective track and trace would also allow for a smoo...

Almost as believable as the 250 mile trip in which a four year old didn't need the toilet at any point....

Re: Current Events/News

Blackbat, interested to know what you make of this thinking: https://bskiesresearch.wordpress.com/2020/05/12/the-human-cost-of-delaying-lockdown/ I know there have been some stories along a similar line across the MSM as well. The problem will all of the data analysis that's being performed on this...

Re: Current Events/News

Really frustrating that Cummings wasn't asked directly at the time if his wife can drive why didn't she drive them back to London. Or failing that if it was so important for him to return to work why wasn't a car arranged for them. Also pinning him down on the coincidence that it was also his wife'...

I mean, really, he drove 30 miles with his wife and son, to test his eyesight was good enough to drive ........ :? :lo...

Re: Current Events/News

Well yes, Cummings clearly needs to go. I do like how well the story has been broken, in a way to get plenty of Tories to speak out for him, then release more details to show how much he was flagrantly ignoring the rules. However, you, sir, still have a lot of anger issues, and need a little perspec...

Re: Current Events/News

You really do have some anger issues, don't you? Your lack of morality and reasoning would leave me to believe that you're somewhat autistic. You're not that guy from 'the other forum' are you? The one that had to have his own forum-ometer at one stage. With every post I think you just confirm my a...
