To be fair, that's probably how he spelled it.

Re: Who are the Blackburn Rovers Rivals?

Nothing like an anonymous survey to kill time at work.
Some odd questions, but I quite like this page.

Re: Euro Super League

If they're desperate to play with their mates in Europe, I'd add that on as the next league up from the main league of each major european footballing nation. 3 clubs from each major European league initially. PL Winner and runner up get automatic promotion, 3-6 get to playoff to join them, and the ...

Re: 2020/2021 Season

So... Can't score, can't defend, but dog shit doesn't stick around forever. It will change, it's just the how and when that are uncertain, and what's going to spark it. Hopefully, we get lucky and manage to go 2-0 up early in a game somewhere and give them a bit of confidence back. Assuming they can...

Germany's vaccine committee has said AstraZeneca's Covid jab should only be given to people aged under 65.
The committee cited "insufficient data" for the effectiveness of the vaccine in those over 65.

Re: Current Events/News

Turns out both our thermometers don't work properly anymore, which apparently happens after a while. But this time the medic was perfectly pleasant about it, said we weren't to know the readings were wrong and we'd done everything right. That's odd, had no idea about that. Back when pubs were...

League 2 it is! I'd live with that. I don't ascribe to the need to be at the pinnacle of the sport if I can enjoy the football played at the level we're at. Promotions are nice but I'm never sure the flush of success is worth the pain of expectation. If we went into the PL and finished mid table, s...

Re: Current Events/News

Last time I tried 111 was during the first lockdown, little one had had a cold-like illness for a few days and was really struggling to breathe. The person on the phone said we shouldn't take her in, they'd send out an ambulance. It turned up 2 days later ... By which time little one was over the w...

Re: Current Events/News

Bloody doctors. I've found 111 more useful than our doctor the couple of times our toddler has needed it. They can book the GP on your behalf I think, and maybe these days they can insist on the appointment as they've already diagnosed non-Covid over the phone (although probably not). I've had both ...

Isn't Kraft "cheese" not technically cheese at all? American cheese—the kind you get in the individual plastic wrappers—is processed cheese or “cheese food,” meaning it’s not actually real cheese. The next time you’re at the grocery store, take a look at the packed singles and notice how ...
