Customer service in this country is apalling. Today I was out shopping with friends and on the back of my bus ticket (a pricey £5 day ticket) there was a special offer - £2 off popcorn at Odean cinemas. As I was going to the cinema anyway I decided to use it. When I got to the kiosk and bought my popcorn the sonofabitch refused to give me my bus ticket back. I explained to him it was my bus ticket and I needed it to get home but the guy just shrugged and told me to move along. I tried asking again but was ignored. I therefore had to fork out for another 2 single tickets (one to get to an out of town shopping centre, another to get home which totalled £4).

nope, have no cash flow whatsoever. Can't get part time work til next year and all the pub jobs are taken

The 2 things you should take away from this experience are:

1) Special offers need to go fuck themselves
2) Public transport = fail
