How is that fair? He just signed a 5 year contract. He should shut up and do his job until someone meets our valuation.

If he wanted a release clause he should have negotiated one in the last contract he signed.

True though after seeing what you say, he should stick to his contract.
But why i meant it to be fair is because,

1) He will always be booed from now on when his on the pitch, meaning he is already an enemy of the fans, and knowing rovers fans , he will not be able to redeem his hero status here.This leading me to conclude he can't be a captain at our club anymore nor a happy player at the club. so he must leave.

2) he can leave during the next window, right now his the best player in the team and whenever his on he does make a difference, defensive wise. So we need him
