I enjoyed the euros much MUCH more the other year when our bunch of jumped up idiots weren't there.

I'm pretty torn about seeing England EVER win a major trophy. I'd hate to see the current team achieve that level of self validation. The just don't deserve it by and large, with one or two exceptions.

However, Capello looks like he escaped from Henson's creature workshop. If only he were made of orange felt that'd probably be encouragement enough for me to cheer the team on.

I often see him in the pub in Whalley. It might surprise you to learn he's a Rovers fan...

It's possible that it's someone who just looks like him, I guess... but he did give us a surprised glare when my mate accidentally shouted 'CAPELLO' as he walked past (instead of whispering it as he usually does)... I don't think he was expecting us to recognise him... :sherlock:

I actually may know who that is.

Owen 'God' Coyle lives in Clitheroe and always lurks around. He was in a pub the day before the playoff final apparently.

Stuart Ripley is always around Clitheroe too. And Martin Olsson.

Quite possibly. There can't be that many Capello look-a-likes in Whalley...
