Aye I think it would benefit everybody if Vincey Grella moves on. His spell at Rovers will end before it gets going! :( :(
And someone mentioned Lucas Neill - Rover the top? I saw Neill playing for Everton reserves versus Rovers reserves down at Widnes about september time last year. Our hero Lucas was doing exactly the same things that night that he used to do when he was at Ewood. Embarassing how whinged at the ref all through the match. Sickening really. Rovers won 3 - 0 though!

Grella would be a passable prem player if he could play 2 games in a row without getting sent off or falling apart, if we could get £2m for him i'd be chuffed, i'd wager that Linganzi and Temouryian(if we signed him) would probably add more to the squad than Grella does.

N'zonzi's only going to get better too, and i would definitely rather have Andrews than Grella, if only for workrate and versatility.

i reckon getting a good deal for grella would be the best news we've had all summer (not much competition i know).

£2m would be a great deal too, considering how little he's done for us, that'd increase our spending power a bit, maybe mean we could look at strikers in the £3-4m price range, as opposed to free- £2.5m

the market is still crazily inflated (wolves signing fletcher from burnley for £7m) so i dont think £2m for a dead horse should be turned down. :D

totally agree, ne thing around 2 mil would be good. and although i think he could be a decent player we are far from being able to give him another year to get fit and settle in, we have better options as u have said and we need a striker desperately.

I must agree. I would certainly accept 2 million for Vince Grella :D Rovers could use the money and Grella could get a new start with another club.

In an interview with Sam Alladyce onSSN after the Sydney game Sam said "As far as am aware there has been no offer for Vince by Galatasaray so as far as am concerned he will be playing for Blackburn" that's not word for word like but pretty close shame really would have been nice to flog him for about 2mill

Anybody have any further news on Vince (sicknote) Grella?

Stumbled across this site today and looked at all his injuries whilst at blackburn?

http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/players/2655/vince_grella_injury.html

Maybe that why no-one wants him.
