Yeah, at the time I interpreted the comments by Lens to be hinting that they considered him to be Portsmouth's player now as he'd played a pre agreed number of games or something which meant they now owed a fee - but I'm not sure his registration had actually been transferred, just that, as Blackbat says, it had been scheduled to happen at the end of the season as per an agreement between the two clubs.
