Being honest spurs were the better team but first half i thought we were doing ok for an away team, admittedly Salgado was in all kinds of trouble and, personally, i would have switched chimbonda to rb, olsson to lb and salgado on right wing, emerton in the middle with pedersen and dunn interchanging on the left/attacking mid. But had we made it to halftime att 0-0 i would have been relatively happy, unfortunately we are unable to defend for an entire half PLUS injury time
The second half wasn't too inspiring but i feel we would have been in with a good chance of a point if Chimbonda understood the concepts of a)playing LEFT back, b)positional awareness related to that bunch of nice chaps wearing different coloured shirts to your mates and c)there is a reason for buying boots in pairs - you have TWO FUCKING FEET, say it with me "rightfoot and ri..." dammit
Obviously playing a second striker or a genuine attacking midfielder who can link up with Kalinic would also help but i have seen far worse performances than yesterdays...
PS: Jason Brown gets let off because he made a fair saves early on and sitting on a bench for 3 years doesn't generally aid concentration
